I never saw music as anything important until a friend opened my eyes in college a few years ago. I was pretty narrow minded in my music selections and did not want to expand. I owe all my continued and future success to this friend and will never forget that he was the one who opened my mind and heart to new ways of thinking. I have taught myself piano and have been playing for a little over three years. I have a lot to learn and am still enduring the hardships of teaching myself. I have an intense feel for lyrics and what an artist is trying to get across. I love digesting a song and understanding it.
